Outline of Provision of JAMAS's Thesaurus Data

The service fee for the JAMAS's Thesaurus is determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the purpose of use (commercial, research, etc.), the type of use (integration into a server, consumer product, etc.), and the scope of data required (all data or partial data extraction that meets certain conditions, for example disease specific documents, etc.).

JAMAS's Thesaurus is provided through an annual subscription, and is not a one-time purchase. The annual fee covers regular data maintenance (registration of new keywords, etc.). In principle, upon termination of a subscription, the data should be deleted and/or returned.

We will endeavor to accommodate your preferences regarding the type/format of data, etc.

Estimated Service Fees of JAMAS's Thesaurus data

Here, some examples of the service fee are shown. Your service fee will be estimated based on your particular conditions, which may be different from these examples.

Integration into a server

• Research purpose: 200,000 yen and up (including initial costs) for first year, negotiable for subsequent years
• Commercial use: 1,000,000 yen and up (including initial costs) for first year, negotiable for subsequent years

Integration into consumer product

• License fee: Selling price x 5% or more

Please contact the Japan Medical Abstracts Society by e-mail. Your e-mail should include as much information as possible, such as company name, the purpose of use, and the scope of data required.

For your consideration, we will provide you with sample data and data specifications according to your request.

We will determine the service fee and other conditions before concluding an agreement and providing data.
